Delivering “Shenzhen Speed” for the APEC Meeting

In support of the APEC meeting, the team completed a high-standard, fast-track display screen construction project. The scope covered scaffolding erection, removal of the old screen, production of the new 871 m² screen, steel structure installation, screen installation, cabling, and commissioning.

The new screen measures 25.44 m (W) × 34.24 m (H), totaling 871 m². Installation of the new screen took 5 days, cabling took 3 days, and commissioning took 1 day. From start to finish, the entire project was completed in just two months.

By comparison, similar overseas projects typically require at least six months—even when more heavy-lifting equipment and larger crews are available. The numbers behind this delivery reflect the team’s exceptional execution capability, its collective strength in rising to challenges and working in close coordination, and a concrete demonstration of “Shenzhen Speed.”
